Corner Building

Corner Building
The south of Yambol is an interesting area just before hitting the River Tundzha. Lots of new developments are taking place, but there is still lots of old buildings still standing. this won't be for long I fear. This little corner building is unique, but at the same time typical of some of the sites still around right now.

  7. Oh I hope they don't demolish all of them! Like this one — it has a very unique shape. Even the steps going down to the door is interesting.

  8. Thank you all for your commnets.
I also hope this building stays - It should be listed really but forward thinking like this isn't really Bulgaria at all. It is all for today and tomorrow will take care of itself. You only have to look at the Black Sea Coast overdevelopment to know abou this.

    Nadia - It's a small world isn't it?

  11. Are they replacing old buildings in a rush to modernize? They'll regret it further down the road. Lovely old building.

  12. no, not really... this one is private owned and people live in it, i think... the old buildings usually stay- some old old houses are knocked down and appartment blocks are built- im not really too impressed with that building...its a little in ruins :)
