This restaurant called the Wine Journalist offers fine food and drink all day and evening. It stands out with the varnished soft wood exterior design. I only been in the restaurant once quite a few years ago, as you enter you walk into a basement area. All the menus are also in English, but cuisine definitely Bulgarian. It's not the cheapest or the most expensive place to eat and we prefer other places, but then that's not coming from me, but from Bulgarians who know better.Yambol is not the prettiest City in Bulgaria, but it does have a unique character which is now in the process of being captured by camera. What you see now in Yambol will be short lived in a world of change, especially with the EU strangling the heart and soul of Bulgaria's culture with directives and uniform regulations.

I'd love to visit this restaurant. The kind of place I love.
ReplyDeleteIts colors are quite striking compared to its neighbors. Must get quite a lot of tourists especially if the menu's in English.

ReplyDeleteIt's an odd entrance, but I like visiting unique places. I've never had Bulgarian food, but would like to know what it tastes like.
