Heading Towards Yambol City Centre

Coming from the River Tunzhda it is up uphill walk heading towards Yambol City Centre. On the right is the back of Diana Hotel and as you can see plenty of free parking space no the Blue Zones fees have kicked in again after Lockdown.

Former 'Stargate' Now a Children's' Academy in Yambol

'Stargate' was a landmark seen by ma my whilst crossing the main road over the Tundzha River. now it is replaced by a Children's Academy hardly noticeable with a camouflage-style sign.

Signs of Life in Yambol's Coach Station

With bus and coach services returning there are signs of life in Yambol's Coach Station. It still has the feeling being deserted and will take time to return the bustling atmosphere.

A Favourite Yambol Hardware Store

This hardware store near the coach station is a favourite of many but mainly frequented by men. Most just browse whilst walking by just as I did today.

Waste Water Pipe into Yambol's River Tundzha

Not a pleasant sight at all seeing this waste water pipe running into Yambol's River Tundzha. It is however just a means of draining the road nearby in rainy weather and not from industrial sources.

Police Traffic Tower Still Stands in Yambol

Having been manned during the Communist era, these traffic towers still stand in Yambol. With a falling population in Yambol and no traffic jams, I don't think they will ever be used again
