Now one of Bulgaria's best boxing coaches, Dimitar Mutafov created medalists and prize-winners of the highest level. He is the head coach of BC "Aprilets" s.Bojadzhik, and he continues his hard work with young and talented boxers, who will make Bulgaria proud in the future.

Bayu Baev born in Malomir, Yambol on the 5th of January 1941 is a former wrestler who competed in the 1968 Summer Olympics and in the 1972 Summer Olympics.

Petar Kirov Wrestling Champion from Kalchevo, Yambol

Petar Kirov is a former Greco Roman wrestler from Kalchevo, in the Yambol province. He is an Olympic gold winner from the games in Mexico 1968 and Munich 1972, three times champion of the World and four times champion of Europe.

Boyo Baev Wrestling Champion from Malomir, Yambol

 

Boyo Baev is from the village of Malomir. He os a four-time European champion in freestyle wrestling, winner of three silver medals from world championships and a participant in two Summer Olympic Games (1968, 1972).

 We used to eat in Restaurant Yambol before they gave it the name and modernised it. A great place to eat then but I don't know whether it still lives up to that standard now.
