Dimitar Minchev Acrobat from Yambol


Dimitar Minchev (April 12, 1952, Stroyno village, Yambolsko) is a three-time world champion in acrobatics (mixed pairs) from Sofia, 1978, Poznan, 1980, and London, 1982.
Minchev was declared the best acrobat in the world on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the establishment of the International Federation. He is a four-time world champion and a three-time European champion who won two gold medals in the World Cup. He brought Bulgaria a total of 13 gold and 14 silver medals from world and European championships.
