Just before you enter Yambol's City Park on the south side over the bridge, there is an ice cream stall. What better way to enjoy a walk in the park on a hot summer day with an ice cream to hand.
Yambol is not the prettiest City in Bulgaria, but it does have a unique character which is now in the process of being captured by camera. What you see now in Yambol will be short lived in a world of change, especially with the EU strangling the heart and soul of Bulgaria's culture with directives and uniform regulations.

Yambol's Towering Tundzha Hotel
Just alongside Yambol's Tundzha River rises up the towering Tundzha Hotel. This dominates the landscape but always give s a sense of where you are in Yambol using it as an obvious landmark. Never stayed at the place, but an ideal place for visiting guests being so central

The Daily Coach Trip from Yambol to Sofia
Every day there are coach trips to Sofia from Yambol. I caught this one just about to leave on a sunny afternoon. Having taken a ride myself, it is a very comfortable journey, but I couldn't wait to get back from the hustle and bustle of Sofia.

Grapevines Grown Over Yambol Garages
It is nearly harvest time in the grape world and these two Yambol garages are no exception to the chores of harvesting. Not just from the point of wine and rakia but how much improved does the sight of the garages improve with the greenery surrounding them? Immense!
