Yambol is not the prettiest City in Bulgaria, but it does have a unique character which is now in the process of being captured by camera. What you see now in Yambol will be short lived in a world of change, especially with the EU strangling the heart and soul of Bulgaria's culture with directives and uniform regulations.

Peppers Picked in Yambol
It was a bountiful day when three bags of peppers that were picked in Yambol landed on my doorstep. Surplus to requirements from the Yamol grower they were gifted to me and now will be canned up for the winter.

Peppers Seen Sunbathing in Yambol
A vibrant sight was seen today in Yambol with peppers sunbathing in lovely autumn weather. No doubt they will eventually be eaten or stored for winter.

Peppers For Sale On a Yambol House Doorstep
Peppers were found on a doorstep of a Yambo house today and they were for sale. It is the pepper season and many have surplus to requirements and sell them privately. Unfortunately, no one wants to buy with the supply outweighing demand.

Season for Peppers Evident in Yambol's Market Stalls
The smell of roasting peppers has invaded Yambol which reminds you that it is the pepper season. Every family has a pnag for these delicious vegetables and Yambol's market stall are flooded with them to cope with demand. Of course most are cooked and preserved for the coming Winter and Spring as we do each year.
