The Yambol Bus Station Pubic Toilets

Tucked away out of sight, the Yambol Bus Station public toilets don't do a roaring trade from the men of Yambol. I will tell you why. Most men, including myself, take a short walk toward to the Tundzha River and relieve ourselves by the back of a building (the police head office building as it happens!) I know as the smell is so distinctive there. The price of using the public toilet is 30 stotinki and having accidentally walked into and used the ladies toilets some four years ago, I wasn't impressed with the hygiene of the place, but that may just be the ladies of Yambol!

The Coffee Paradise In Yambol

As I wondered into a school playground, one side of the area has the backs of lined up Yambol homes. In this line of gardens and outbuildings is an old cafe called 'Coffee Paradise'. Although it looks run down an redundant it is still a working cafe. A school playground as a business spot for this is no problem as the school grounds are open for the public to use, including the basketball nets that stand there.

A Simple Yambol Garden

There are plenty of simple Yambol gardens in Yambol and they look pretty bare in the winter. Most is not all have their outdoor water supply and sink somewhere in the garden grounds. In a few weeks time this garden will be transformed into a Garden of Eden with practical crops that will feed the owner now and next winter. I just love looking at these gardens that provide a feast, although having a well deserved rest right now.

A Yambol Version Of Argos

A Yambol Version Of ArgosI often used to shop in the catalogue store Argos in the UK, it is a massive company selling everything under the sun as bargain prices. I used to hate these shopping occasions. This little Yambol shop we recently bought from in Yambol is also called Argos and also sells cheap electric and other goods as well as secondhand reconditioned goods. I must admit my shopping experience in this Yambol shop was ten times more pleasant that the UK Argos for so many reasons I've lost count.

A Yambol Pedestrian Walkway - With Dangers Attached

I often walk this way along this narrow Yambol pedestrian walkway one of the best paved way in town, but is has its own dangers. In winter the icicles hang from the ledge above and many people have had injuries from the falling ice spears. Luckily 99 times out of 100 this is not the case as today. Just a bit of rain and a cover from that as well. I like the tree lined path that is created here.
