Dangerous Hole on Public Footpath in Yambol

I've seen many footpaths in disrepair in Yambol, but this dangerous one stands out more than others. During the day you can see this but in the night that's a different story.

wondering what all the din was, I investigated and found a hole was being drilled in the grounds of St Nicholas Church in Yambol. Not quite sure why but holes are made to be filled so will find out in due course.

Nature can be strange sometimes and in Yambol there is an example with this tree trunk that has formed with a gaping hole. It goes unnoticed in the main as hundreds of people pass each day. Interesting nature formations seemingly ignored.

Good job it was daylight and I was aware of my surround otherwise it could have been a nasty experience. This hole in the ground just appeared before me as I tramped over some rough ground in Yambol. It had obviously been use as a drainage point at some time but the infrastructure surrounding it and its purpose has moved on with the hole remaining. This is a common find in Yambol.

This year in Yambol and the rest of Bulgaria the state of the roads has been horrendous. Here is just a little taste of what you get when you drive in Yambol. A hole with then obligatory cigarette carton within. Traffic accidents with pedestrians are down, but car repairs are up!

There are many road repairs right now, it's the right time for this as the weather isn't too hot. But by golly do they neede repairing. this was found today as I turned left at the junction. Luckily I wasn't in a car at the time. Many a car repair is needed after driving over these tyhpes of pothole! By the way, the state of this road is typical and quite a common sight in Yambol's increasing traffic filled roads.
