A decommissioned army tank is seen here being delivered to Yambol's Battle of Glory Museum. All traffic stopped with the wide birth involved going up the wrong way of a one way street due to a wide turning circle needed.
Yambol is not the prettiest City in Bulgaria, but it does have a unique character which is now in the process of being captured by camera. What you see now in Yambol will be short lived in a world of change, especially with the EU strangling the heart and soul of Bulgaria's culture with directives and uniform regulations.

A Tank in Yambol's Fire Brigade Station Car Park. Why?
Looking at the Yambol Fire Brigade premises today, I found it a strange place to find a tank. Only the fire fighters know why it is there I guess.

Another Tank on Show in Yambol's Battle of Glory Museum
This fearsome tank is in fine condition on display in Yambol's Battle of Glory Museum. You are not allowed to take pictures in this area normally, but I was given grace on the Day of Bulgaria's Independence when I visited.

Another picture of a tank in Yambol's Battle of Glory Museum. This is in the Stara Planina area of Yambol, well signposted throughout the town and has a steady flow of visitors Nice to see children being brought along with their parents.
