Having been there now for approaching 10 years, this wooden horse is well weather-worn over those years. It is still a favourite with children who climb on it.
Yambol is not the prettiest City in Bulgaria, but it does have a unique character which is now in the process of being captured by camera. What you see now in Yambol will be short lived in a world of change, especially with the EU strangling the heart and soul of Bulgaria's culture with directives and uniform regulations.

The Darker Wooden Horse in Yambol City Park
Each year the wooden horse situation in Yambol City Park gets darker with he aging of the wood. It has to date stood the test of time being manhandled by children and adults consistently clambering over it.

The Wooden Horse in Yambol's City Park
The wooden Horse that stands in the centre of Yambol's City Park has aged over the year bit as strong as ever. It has gone a bit darker in colour over the seasons since the last picture was taken. See for yourself in comparison here...

The Wooden Horse in Yambol Park
There has been quite a revamp an restructuring in Yambol's Park over the last year, this wooden horse is just a small part of this. Strong enough to mount and last for many years ahead. Respected by locals as well I might add.
