Seeing a bird perched on a pipe in Yambol, it seemed to me as if it was trying to work out how to get to the water from the bottle. It was a hot day!
Yambol is not the prettiest City in Bulgaria, but it does have a unique character which is now in the process of being captured by camera. What you see now in Yambol will be short lived in a world of change, especially with the EU strangling the heart and soul of Bulgaria's culture with directives and uniform regulations.

Onions Growing in a Bottle in Yambol
Here's something you don't see every day. A water bottle that used to carry water being used to grow onions. Looks like one has started sprouting already!

A Present - A Bottle of Rakia Made in Yambol
It was a pleasant surprise to receive a bottle of freshly made rakia today from my neighbour in Yambol. 100ml will go down nicely with a salad this evening!
