Yambol's Vermont Night Club is the centre of the chalga music in the Tundzha district. They play solely pop folk and is always very popular with fans of chalga music, me included. Strangely enough not many people actually see Vermont during daylight so this is a rare sight to many who frequent this night club. A great atmosphere there by the way and no age discrimination it is a place for all ages although many 'old folk' don't like chalga.
Yambol is not the prettiest City in Bulgaria, but it does have a unique character which is now in the process of being captured by camera. What you see now in Yambol will be short lived in a world of change, especially with the EU strangling the heart and soul of Bulgaria's culture with directives and uniform regulations.

Yambol's Zlaten Rog Apartment Block
With forefront of the Tundzha River and houses lines on the banks you can see the massive 'Zlaten Rog' apartment block complex. Many a time I have attended parties there and visited the Disco called 'Vermont which plays entirely Bulgarian Pop Folk (or Chalga) music. It looks impressive from a distance and although looks a long way away only takes ten minutes to walk there from this position.
