A Modern Bus Shelter Now Common in Yambol

There used to be a wide range of bus shelters in Yambol but over the years they are being replaced by modern one such as this. a bit sterile with no character, but functional.

Derelict Homes in Yambol

Another example of the the old Yambol where home are derelict and ripe for new developments. Eventually all these inner city houses will be gone and the new modern accommodation, shops or offices will stand in their place. Although these homes are an eye sore looking like this, they were someone's pride and joy years ago with land with vines and other organic homegrown produce. Such as shame this typical Bulgarian City home has gone to ruin.

Yambol's Caramel Bar

Away from the town centre in a suburb in the south are is the Caramel Bar and it's outside seating area. It is hard to believe it is November and the outside area is still being used. There may not be anyone there this mid-morning, but every evening is full of families who gather together to socialise after work. This area is near the Capri Hotel and Sara Supermarket.
