 This must have been working sometime in the past and a welcome sight in the summer with the blistering heat Yambol experiences. Today it is disused sitting in Yambol Train Station, Shame!

 There is no other choice other than to cross over the railway lines to get to platforms 2 and three in Yambol Train Station. Both of which serve Burgas and Sofia respectively.

A train arrives at Yambol's train station heading for Stara Zagora. There is always a big step up to get into the carriage; a problem for the elderly and disabled.

As seen from afar on a bridge walkway, Yambol Train Station is patiently waiting for a train to arrive. Always a joy to watch the hypnotic brown an rusted railway lines leading your eye to the station. And alway full of expectation of seeing a train, but on this occasion not.

Inside Yambol Train Station

This is inside Yambol's Train Station. With the very tall ceiling it has a very spacious feel to it and an echo when you speak. A little shop is there as well as the ticket office. Modern LED displays show the departures and arrivals which can bee seen on the far wall.
