A Jet Plane in Yambol's Battle of Glory Museum

Yet another reminder of battles in Yambol's Battle of Glory Museum. this time from above with one of Bulgaria's jet planes. This one was used for training young air cadets.

The Yambol Sports Centre Basketball Court

Part of Yambol's Tundzha stadium has a sports centre attached. With this complex is a big basketball court where anyone can just walk in an use it. I just strolled in and watched a few people just knocking a ball around. There is always someone here using the court which is a good alternative to the school playground basketball courts if the weather isn't too good.

An Old Cycle Training Centre In Yambol

At the south end of Yambol I found an old cycle training centre. This was next to a high school and looks as if it hadn’t been used for some time. Whether funds aren’t there anymore or there is no call for this anymore or even if it is just used after school term ends remains a mystery. Judging from cyclists moving around Yambol, there certainly is a call for cycle training, but more so for car driving safety centres!
