A Grand Pillered Restaurant Entrance

This grand pillared building is actually the entrance to a restuarant called 'Nostos' that is reknown for its pizza dishes. We went there for a birthday party once a couple of years ago and sat in the a spacious garden area at the back for warmer days and evenings. This used to get very busy in the summer, it remains whether it will be as busy this summer with the recession now hitting Bulgaria and Yambol.

  1. Fascinating building. It looks more like a small hotel than a restaurant. Hopefully, business will be sufficient in spite of the economic turmoil that abounds.

  2. Martin a lot of the building seem to have a 1930's flavour. However I guess maybe this is more 1950's?

  3. Similar worries all over the place. What will happen to shops and restaurants. I'm afraid a lot of restaurants will have to close. But hopefully this pizza place will be alright. :-)

  5. Those chefs do the best pizzas and the best salads I have ever tasted and I am half Italian and have been brought up on the most elaborate pizzas and pastas and salads. They really are delicious. Just thinking about them makes me hungry.

  7. Where in Yambol was this cosy retro house? I am sure that it is built in the first half of the XX century.
