The deserted River Tundzha looking North in Yambol paints an isolated area being a couple of kilometres from the city centre.
Yambol is not the prettiest City in Bulgaria, but it does have a unique character which is now in the process of being captured by camera. What you see now in Yambol will be short lived in a world of change, especially with the EU strangling the heart and soul of Bulgaria's culture with directives and uniform regulations.

Everywhere you look in Yambol you will see apple trees full of ripe apples. North, West, South and East apples are in abundance.

A Rainbow Looking North From Yambol
After a downpour of rain, a rainbow was seen looking north from Yambol. The weather coming from the Balkan Mountains in the north is always dramatic.

Saint Nicholas Church Viewed Looking North in Yambol
A view of the South side of St Nicholas Church in Yambol. Spectacular churches not just in Yambol but all over Bulgaria never fail to impress and they are always open for the public for peace, quiet and solitude. Also, it is probably the coolest place to be in Yambol on a hot summer day.

South to North Over Yambol's River Tundzha By Bridge
A footbridge enabling pedestrian to travel from the South to the North side of Yambol's River Tundzha is seen here. I like the bare metal girders that poke out of the side as if the construction hadn't been finished. also the two parallel concrete strips going up the stairs very useful for bicycles, prams and buggies.
