Most visitors to St. Nicholas Chruch in Yambol use the west entrance, which is the main point of entry. This south entrance is used in busy times and the decorations on the door are overlooked most of the time.
Yambol is not the prettiest City in Bulgaria, but it does have a unique character which is now in the process of being captured by camera. What you see now in Yambol will be short lived in a world of change, especially with the EU strangling the heart and soul of Bulgaria's culture with directives and uniform regulations.

The Tundzha River Flowing South Through Yambol
The ever changing Tundzha River flowing South through Yambol is seen here in its Autumn colours on this warm and sunny day. Yambol City Park is on the right obscured by the trees.

South to North Over Yambol's River Tundzha By Bridge
A footbridge enabling pedestrian to travel from the South to the North side of Yambol's River Tundzha is seen here. I like the bare metal girders that poke out of the side as if the construction hadn't been finished. also the two parallel concrete strips going up the stairs very useful for bicycles, prams and buggies.

Yambol's River Tundzha Heading South
A view of one to the tributaries of the River Tundzha making its way through Yambol heading South with the destination Turkey. Always interesting crossing the river watching the neighbourly wildlife that lives there.
