Billa Supermarket Seen Through Winter Trees in Yambol

 Many folk in Yambol see this sight after a walk in the park as they have to pass it back to the town centre. Clearly, Billa Supermarket is seen through the winter tree and of course hidden in the summer.

Steep Steps and Ramp Leading the Yambol''s Billa Supermarket

Managing to walk up and down the steps although steep presents no problem. But the ramp gradient is very steep and prams and buggies with children in potentially is dangerous. Luckily there are other entrances and exits to Yambol's Billa Supermarket.

Waiting Area in Yambol's Billa Supermarket

Used by many this waiting area is quite convenient, especially when having just bought food. I see many snacking here at lunchtime. what I don't like it the great big ads on the windows staring you in the face though. I usually turn around and face the other way.

The Back Of Yambol's Billa Supermarket

What an eyesore! This was taken from the lovely Yambol's Town Park overlooking the River Tundzha. A few years ago this would have been pure nature. The horrible red back of the Billa supermarket is now resident here and a blot on the landscape. Supermarket tactics of an out of town shopping place where access in the main is by car. There are enough derelict areas in the town centre to be developed but supermarkets choose scenic venues for their trade. By the way I avoid shopping here and prefer the local small Bulgarian grocers that give a better personal service and don’t rush you though like cattle.
