Coloured Yambol in the City Garden

Somehow the coloured Yambol that stands in the City Garden complements the natural colours given out by the natural floral that is growing there. A pretty sight of cloured blends.

An Attractive Yambol Iron Window Grate

An Attractive Yambol Iron Window Grate
Tucked away amidst the undergrowth in Yambol city centre is a basement room of a house with an attractive window grate. It can be easily missed when you walk past. I like the way the bars lengthen climaxing to the centre. the lovely little twirls just add to it. It will last far longer than the windows it protects, probably ending up somewhere else in Yambol on a new development.

Yambol Fountains That Work

In the city centre of Yambol lies a row of fountains that are rarely working. This weekend they are, and what a difference they make when working now the sun is out and the weather is warm. It just adds a more freshness to an already fresh area of the city that is a pleasure to walk.

Yambol's Customs And Excise Office

Yambol's Customs And Excise Office

Just outside of Yambol's city centre are the customs and excise offices. For anyone who imports goods this office has to be visited and documents validated. Many stories of the inconsistencies of Bulgarian customs and excise regulations have been experience here by expatriate who have been through the process. My own experience was quite horrendous with the custom fees and taxes having to be paid exceeded the value of my personal possessions I shipped over with me. Not pleasant memories of the place for me and many others.

Two Black Trees - One White Wall

Two Black Trees - One White WallThis was seen just south of Yambol City Centre in a derelict area which now doubt will be developed on soon. It just struck be with the contrast so I clicked and caught it. These trees I'm sure will bloom soon come spring. Buy the way, this is typical City centre surround in many areas of Yambol.

Women In War - A Reminder

Women In War - A ReminderAnyone who has been shopping in Yambol will know this statue as it is in a very busy place in the City centre by the Upper Bazaar and Global Telephone Offices. It stands out as a vivid reminder that wars involve women as well as men. Again, this is a place where many men stand by there for many an hour, the reason? They are wating for their wives in the 1 leva shop right next to this statue.

How Far Are Other Towns From Yambol?

Another brand new road sightpost, again with English subtitles, which annoys me. This road is heading in a westward direction showing how far these towns are from Yambol. I had walked about two kilometres of Yambol City to capture this picture so you can add that the the total distances given.
