Yambol is not the prettiest City in Bulgaria, but it does have a unique character which is now in the process of being captured by camera. What you see now in Yambol will be short lived in a world of change, especially with the EU strangling the heart and soul of Bulgaria's culture with directives and uniform regulations.

Christmas Arrives in Yambol City Centre
Once again Christmas arrives in Yambol City Centre. Very similar if not the same as last year with a blue themed Father Christmas figure and his wife? (Who looks like a queen.( Seemingly quite confusing albeit the reindeer and sleigh swing the vote on the fact this is indeed Father Christmas. Simple but locals love the display!

It is now well into February with Spring fast approaching and the Christmas Tree in Yambol City Centre still has Christmas decorations hanging from it. Looks lovely sparkling in the sun so who's complaining?

Less than two weeks to Christmas and the yearly Christmas setup is in place in Yambol. Enjoyed by many Yambol folk and children with picture galore being taken. Just love the simplicity and innocence of the scene.

Yambol Preparing for Christmas
Two weeks before Christmas and Yambol is now preparing for Christmas. The yearly tradition of decorating the big fir tree in the town centre has begun. Nice to know that the timing is just right with the 12 days before Christmas traditionally when the festive season begins.

Christmas Decorations Still Up At Yambol's Municipal Offices
Passing by Yambol's Municipal Offices I noticed that the Christmas decorations are still up. We all know they don't light up this time of the years, but all ready for the Christmas celebrations in three months time.
