Old Classic Childrens' Slide in Yambol

This childrens' slide goes back to Communist times and is still standing although not used anymore. Health and safely would not allow this design to be accessed to children with sharp metal edges and no handrails. In my opinion confronting and learning to deal with dangers is all part of the learning cycle for children.

This Childrens' slide took my eye from the fact that its slide is missing. Steps to nowhere apparently. Not been used for years with a little garden formed on the foundations. Quite a sad picture as it turns out without its function.

There are many children's public playground apparatus in Yambol, most are crooked, broken in some way or obstructed by cars or other objects. This one is in perfect working condition. Maybe the brick under the end of the slide is there for a later date as a form of repair!

Money is the problem here. A children's slide that has parted company with the actual slide has not been repaired. Luckily there are many other children's play apparatuses around Yambol that are in slightly better condition than this.

Big Blow Up Slides For Yambol Children

By the side of Yambol's city centre park there is a big blow up slide for children to play on. It is not there all the time, mostly at weekends when the children are about. You have to pay, but not a lot around 1 leva for fifteen minutes. Nice to see bright colours and happy children in Yambol centre.
