 Out local store, Vilton can be seen here which we use often. Only located in Yambol and Sliven many of the basic food products are also locally produced and of better quality than the bigger supermarkets.

A Little Apartment Block Store In Yambol

What you see here is in danger of exstinction in the future with globalisation and supermarket monopoly to a people who seek the cheapest goods from their poverty. The little store tucked under the eave of an apartment block is just the type of community store that ouzes Bulgaria and Yambol. Even now it is little used due to purchase power down the road at Kaufland .supermarket.

A Wedged Shaped Yambol Store

I've often popped into this wedged shaped store adjacent to the Yambol's college. I is always full of students at lunchtime and after school finishes. I love wedge shape and there is a great traditional Bulgarian cuisine restaurant in the basement away from the tourist runs!

An Abandoned Car in Yambol

Abandoned cars in Yambol are a common sight, but even though this one seemingly has no use to anyone it does. It is used as a store for a a shop adjacent the postion. You can see the boxes of clothing inside the car. I assume the locking system work ont he doors, certainly no one can make a getaway in this vehicle, not that this sort of thing goes on here anyway. This picture does sum up some parts of a Yambol that is being modernised very fast. There will be no more sights like this anymore as laws will come in for abandoned vehicles.

Sunset in the new Technopolis superstore car park on the Elhovo road. doen't matter where you are in the world sunsets have a special atmosphere. Much rather be in the car park than in the shop this evening.
