 Out local store, Vilton can be seen here which we use often. Only located in Yambol and Sliven many of the basic food products are also locally produced and of better quality than the bigger supermarkets.

There are numerous Vilton shops open in Yambol and now there is a new one to add their collection. This one sells Fruit and Vegetable, whereas all the other branches don't, just groceries. Good to see a Bulgarian company doing well albeit only trading in Sliven and Yambol as I found out recently.

There are many branches of Vilton in Yambol, (Ямбол), this is one of them. You know where you stand with this supermarket with reliable home grown service and product. It is nice to know that is is a Bulgarian firm serving Bulgarian people which is refreshing with the domination of German superstores trying to strangle out Vilton any way they can.

Another Vilton Supermarket In Yambol

Much as I have a pet hate for supermarkets, the Vilton chain are quite acceptable to me. They are firstly Bulgarian owned based all around the city of Yambol, i.e. you don't need a car to get there to shop. Secondly, they are all on a small scale and more like a grocer shop. This one I particularly like because there are no trolley to push around, just baskets. this one has recently undergone a complete renovation, but not got bigger! Refreshing indeed to see no progress in that department - Oh yes I nearly forgot, only one checkout point!

A Small Vilton Supermarket

This is a Bulgarian Vilton supermarket only built tow years ago. It's only a smallish one and other massive supermarkets have been built locally taking away many local Yambol customers. If we have to go to a supermarket we use this because it is small and on the way back from work. The other thing about this was the limited number of car parking spaces, only around 10 to cater for the supermarket, the bar, the flower shop and the hairdresser built within the complex for too small so traffic problem galore on the street running past it.
