This is the entrance to the Yambol town centre park. The two ornaments just set it off nicely. The park is well used by all gernations of Bulgarian and no vandalism anywhere to be seen, with a drinking water fountain always working there in the centre of the park.

Yambol is not the prettiest City in Bulgaria, but it does have a unique character which is now in the process of being captured by camera. What you see now in Yambol will be short lived in a world of change, especially with the EU strangling the heart and soul of Bulgaria's culture with directives and uniform regulations.

That looks such a pretty little place.
ReplyDeleteI beg to differ about the vandalism-- those little white things that are at one of the openings- those are, or were, lamps, when they first built that a good few years ago, the lamps worked for very short time. Also, if you were ever there at night time or in the evening, 2 years ago there were 2 big street lights that worked, and last year there were none so basically youre stuck in the dark...shame no one bothers to change the bulbs :(
