A Bear Found in Yambol Park

 A new statue has appeared in Yambol Park recently. Namely, a black bear looking quite minute but fearsome.

Yambol Park in the Dark

 The long path that follows the River Tundzha in Yambpol Park is lit up in the dark for early walkers. Just as well saving many rolling down the bank into the river.

Bridge into Yambol Park Before Sunrise

 Yambol is deserted before 6 AM yet some of the best sights are at this time before sunrise. the bridge leading into Yambol Park is a fine example lit up with solar lighting.

Sporting Glories Remembered in Yambol Park

 This is the first of many signs showing the sporting glories in Yambol from athletes that come from the Yambol area. I will try and capture each athlete and post them here in due course.

The Children Statues in Yambol Park Fountain

 Without the water running on Yambol Park's main fountain you can see the statues of three children. Not sure what they are doing, but I'm sure grateful for a shower each day in this hot summer.

New Labelled Benches in Yambol Park

 Every new bench in Yambol Park has a label attached. This tells us what team made the bench and the mandate period. This is a new system introduced this year.

Bring to life this area of Yambol Park is another bed of flowers that have come to bloom right now. There are at least three rounds of planting in this area each year.

A Lonely Stripped Tree in Yambol Park

 I do feel sorry for this stripped tree in Yambol park. It stands there lonely and seemingly dead after serving the park for many decades. Luckily there are many new trees planted close by.

 Always kept neat, tidy and clean is the toilet block in Yambol Park. Made out of what looks like a container the inside is well managed and no doubt very convenient for many.

Floating Flowering Lilies in Yambol Park

 These floating lilies have just started flowering in Yambol Park. In a week or so they will be in full bloom.

Mermaid Statue Still Not Replaced in Yambol Park

 It was quite a few years ago, in fact in 2018, when there was a mermaid statue at the end of this pool. Vandals firstly knocked off her head then the statie disappeared. The never to be seen again statue headless was recorded in a previous post here:

A U-Turn Path in Yambol Park

 A path to nowhere effectively. This U-turn path in Yambol Park was carved out by kids on mountain bikes. Now well worn is used regularly by the bikers to get back on track.

Dog Poo Bin in Yambol Park

 This dog poo bin has been standing in Yambol Park for a few years now but is hardly used by dog owners judging by the mess left on the paths and green areas. Disgrace!

Big Log Left to Rot in Yambol Park

 

After lumberjack work a few years ago, this big log has been left to rot in Yambol Park. Perfect for log burners if cut up which it may be in the future for heat in the park worker's workplace.

 Not many people know that these mushrooms are edible, which is why they are still there not picked. Found in Yambol park for the first time I moght add.

Painted Tyres Lead The Way in a Yambol Park

These painted tyres lead the way into a small park in Yambol. A perfect reception for flowers or shrubs in the centre of the tyre which I'm sure they were filled at one point.
