A Dented Yambol Street Light

This Yambol street light is normally upright or with a slight slant with the earthquake that frequent and move them on many occasions. This particular one was dented not by natural causes but another source although I'm not too sure what hit is to cause it. Perhaps a lorry, a low flying aeroplane, a muscle bound bee or bird? Whatever caused it the metal decay will commence and it will eventually fall, no doubt before any maintenance arrives!

A Local Yambol Street Light

Just a simple street light in Yambol, but an interesting one to me. It has a light sensor at the base to indicate when to switch on and off. This, amongst a fusion of Yambol spring weed growth is respected and not vandalised at all - so refreshing being so vulnerable. Secondly the white plastic light cover has been repair with some masking tape, not doubt by local residents who look after and care fo this public facility. This simple light is a fine example of local community living together with respect for their surrounding and environment.

Glassed Apartment Stairway In Yambol

Glassed Apartment Stairway In Yambol
I found this interesting piece of glass architecture on the backend of a small apartment block on the outskirts Yambol. It covers the landings and flights of stairs all the way to the top. Most apartment buildings have brick or blocks with no natural light and the use of lights have to be switched on to find your way up. No need for that here, all they need is street lamps and no light internal light would be needed during night either. I wouldn’t be seen to be going up those stars though as I have vertigo!
