Fallen Steps Now Leading to Nowhere in Yambol

It is a mystery sometimes in Yambol as to how things appear. This example of steps that have fallen and no leading to nowhere is a case. I just can't fathom out where they have fallen from as there is no place above here they could have possibly been. They remain untrodden, for how long who knows. This I remind you is not unusual in Yambol.

Another Hole On A Yambol Walkway

In all the years I have lived and worked here I don't recall one intance where a Bulgarian has fallen down a hole in the street. There is a very simple reasn for this, everyone here knows there are holes around therefore walk with caution in their step, especially at night. Why the need to cover them if care is taken?
