You had to get up early to catch this piece of pavement being taken away in Yambol to who knows where. Hopefully, it will return one day, so we don't have to walk on sand and grit.
Yambol is not the prettiest City in Bulgaria, but it does have a unique character which is now in the process of being captured by camera. What you see now in Yambol will be short lived in a world of change, especially with the EU strangling the heart and soul of Bulgaria's culture with directives and uniform regulations.

A Collage of Weeds on a Yambol Pavement
Nature has got together a group of weeds to create a collage of colours on a Yambol pavement. Greens, yellow, purple, white combine very well.

A New Tree Planted In Yambol
Last year in the same spot a tree was planted in a crack in the pavement in Yambol. It didn't survive as cars parked on the pavement knocked it over. This year there has been another new tree planted but with a permanent cemented brick surround creating an obstacle for pavement car parkers this year. It remains to see whether this one survive the murdering cars.
