Block 63 In Yambol

Block 63 now has its turn. Nothing too spectacular with this one, a small block that is tidy enough and comfortable inside. They used to be affordable but prices have risen beyond the means of most  Bulgarians over the last 10 years due to demand from foreigners like me.

The Yambol Russian Club

Tucked away round the corner for the man Yambol Post Office, this little place is the Yambol Russian Club. Russians in Bulgaria out number any other foreigners here and is increasing. There is still a great relationship with the former USSR due to warmer weather, cheaper housing and of course beautiful women. I've never seen anyone go in or out of this place, but it must be used perhaps as a drinking establishment a the Russians do like their vodka!

Another New Apartment Development

Developments like this are scattered around Yambol town. This is a common site wherever you go as the demand for apartments is was high. This demand in the main is not from Bulgarians but from foreigners who are the only ones who can afford them . With the wordwide credit crunch I wonder whether all these new apartment developments will all sell or flood the market ending up unsold.
