Strange Metal System in a Yambol Street

Strange, Metal, System, Yambol, Street,

I fail to figure out what this strange metal system is on a street in Yambol. It is a permanent fixture going underground. I am guessing it might be something to do with water, but it remains a mystery.

Yambol's Metal Reclaiming Centre

Yambol, Metal, Reclaiming Centre,

Just a couple of Kilometres northbound from Yambol city Centre you will find Yambol's Metal Reclaiming Centre where secondhand metal is handed in for cash per kilo. There is a weighbridge used to weigh vehicles before and after unloading the metal to calculate the weigh difference and settle payments.

Anitque Tractors On Yambol's Tundzha Riverbank

Anitque Tractors On Yambol's Tundzha Riverbank
Just before you cross the Tundzha River on the road to Stara Zagora, if you look to your left you will see these antique tractors lined up. Obviously not been used for decades and have no use to anyone other than for scrap metal, which is where they will probably end up. I like the bare metal wheels.

An Entrance To A Yambol Town house

This is an entrance to a Yambol town house only a few doors away from where we live. The house is empty, it has been for years but the entrance remians intact and full fo charactor. The birds are cut out from metal witht he typical rising sun design of the gate. As you can see the shrubbery is invading as it always does with vacant property in Yambol and surround.

Yambol Park - Iron Sculpture

Yambol Park - Iron SculptureIf you visit the Yambol park in the City centre you will see an iron sculpture that stands there. No inscriptions are apparent, but is does resemble a floral type figure. Somehow it fits in witht he surrounding area perfectly, not obtrusive at all and has a calmng presence about it, perfect for sunny warm days like this to relax at lunchtime as many Bulgarians do.
