This is one of my favourite places to buy fruit and vegetable in Yambol (Ямбол). Situated in the Borovets area, local residents set up their home grown produce to sell the the public. Far better prices than the shops and the bigger market places and of course quality just as good with the generations of know how in Yambol small holdings and gardens

My Local Greengrocer Store in Yambol

This is my local Greengrocer shop in Yambol selling mainly fruit and vegetable but has other goodies including freshly squeezed juice made on site. The staff are always polite and helpful making a visit to shop there a pleasure. Just love small family shops such as these in Yambol.

A Mini Bazaar in Yambol's Borovets Area

This mini bazaar in in Yambol's Borovets area. It is made up of local Yambol folk selling their own home produced fruit and vegetables. Much fresher than anywhere else in Yambol and at a better price! Better get the early as they are usually gone by lunchtime.

Ensia The Yambol Fruit And Vegetable Wholesalers

This is the main complex of Ensia the largest fruit and vegetable wholesalers in Yambol. Many of the produce here is locally grown and sold on market stalls throughout the region. They have recently finished the front area with tons and tons of concrete so business is looking good it seems.

A Shop On The Cheap In Yambol

Selling fruit and vegetables is easy in Yambol. All yo need is the produce, a bucket a bowl and a few cardboard boxes and put them out with prices written on a bit of cardboard and wait all day! It's as simple as that and of course no tax as a blind eye is given to this. It's all so casual and so Yambol!

A Simple Yambol Greengrocer Shop

Nothing fancy about this greengrocer shop, just selling fine quality fruit and vegetables at the going rate. Most of the time the owner is sitting out under the shade of the parasol chatting to others who would sit with her. Right now though there are customers to attend to or are they just there to chat?

Lada Shop

I see this sight quite often as a Lada is the shop selling various fruit and vegetables including preserved gherkins and conserve on the bonnet a set of weighing scales to the left with rakia for sale just behind that. The owner wasn't trading for the last couple of weeks as it was too cold, but better weather over the last two days has brought him out again. This is set up in the middle of a set of apartment blocks. A free market is ever I saw one.
