Diana Cable Payment Offices in Yambol

We have television cable in our house and use Diana Cable services. Each month we walk to their payment offices in the town centre and pay our bill. We had to wait a few moments for another customer to finish paying  as you can see. there are many other businesses in this complex situated by the River Tundzha.

Yambol's Biggest Complex Nears Completion

Yambol's Biggest Complex Nears Completion
Probably the biggest complex in Yambol is nearing completion. It has been in progress for over a year now and is to be the home of the municiple office such as pensions, taxes etc. This has already changed the face of this part of the town centre. sitting right next to the Saint Nikolai Church. There are also other developments going on around the complex, I think it's a big car park and I'm glad to say a small recreation area.

Renewable Wood Resources in Yambol Town Centre

Renewable Wood Resources in Yambol Town CentreTrees are used all over the country in Bulgaria for many things, even in town centres the resources that trees provide are taken advantage of. This particular tree has its branches sawn off ever year and used for supports for tomatoes and other vegetables, then used as firewood for heating. The tree looks poorly right now, but next spring it comes back to life and provides more resources. How good it is to know that this renewable source of wood and does no harm to the environment.

North Road Junction

North Road JunctionThe Junction looking westward. I have spent much time watching cars jump red light here! Turn left and you head towrds Benkovski a well known gypsy ghetto, (its not that bad, been there a few times). turn right and you head toward the town centre, straight ahead is the hospital and the road behind to Sliven a bigger and more posh town north of Yambol.

I live 400 metres from this junction

Kabile Hotel

Kabile HotelToday I was passing the Kabile Hotel, only built last year. It is a prominent feature in this part of Yambol town centre. It has been said that it is mafia owned, that's all I will say on the matter from fear!

I went to the Hotel restaurant once last year, can't afford to very often, the food was very good but the service was at a snail's pace which spoilt it somewhat. pity. But then the Bulgarian restaurant have a lot to learn about foreigners expectations when it comes to service.
