 Having been relocated a few years ago this woman at war statue remains seated as a reminder of their valuable contribution in hard times of was the past.

Gypsy Women Street Cleaners Were Here in Yambol

Periodically we get Gypsies cleaning up the streets of Yambol. Removing stubborn perennial weeds embedded in pavement cracks and general sweeping is all part of the service. Gypsy men come later with a truck on to collect the filled bags you can see in the picture. 

Yambol's 1930 Women in the Winter Sun

Having seen this statue m any times, today the Yambol women of 1930 look very happy lapping up the Winter sun this winter. A beautiful day to remember the contribution women made during that era.

Piles of Leaves Gathered Up for Collection in Yambol (Ямбол)

After the women have swept up the leaves into numerous piles all the way down the road, they are now left for collection by the men on their trucks in due course. A common sight this time of year.

Yambol's Women in 1931

Dated back to 1931, this group of female statues stand proud in the centre of Yambol's City Park. There is no information why it is there from people  here I have asked and no inscriptions on the statues. Guess it doesn't need explaining as the image speaks volumes.
