Typical Village Clogs Parked Outside a Front Door in Yambol

A common sight is village clogs that are usually parked outside front doors in Yambol. Very handy for a quick walk in the garden or to the local shops. No laces or buckles to bother with and of course 100% waterproof.

Oooops! Smashed up Car Parked up in Yambol

Oooops, Smashed, Car, Parked, Yambol,
Seemingly this car is now just scrapped metal after being smashed up and parked on a Yambol road. A carpet replaces the window to keep the rain out for some reason.

Locked Up Security Wagon Parked in Yambol

Locked Up, Security, Wagon, Parked, Yambol,

Parked up and locked up is this security wagon found in Yambol. It is right next to a small apartment development and no doubt holds working machinery. However, I have seen security staff living in there on site.

School Bus Parked Outside a Newly Renovated Yambol School

School Bus, Parked, Renovated, Yambol, School,

School buses are seen regularly shipping children to and from schools in Yambol. This is a relatively new bus to compliment the newly renovated school to which the children attend.

A Lada Police Car Parked up in Yambol

Lada, Police Car, Parked, Yambol,

A white Lada Police Car was seen parked up. Not too sure it would be very effective in a police car chase. I was there when it was driven away with the engine and faulty exhaust causing a great din. Don't even think it was roadworthy with the noise it expelled.

A Simple White Road Bike Parked in Yambol (Ямбол)

A Simple White Road Bike Parked in Yambol (Ямбол)

Parked up in the Centre of Yambol (Ямбол) was something very dear to me. A simple white road bike the only extra is a stand which was n't being used in this case. The Royston is marked on the frame, sound very English but with no record of that it seems as if it is purely a fashion name. Looks the part though!

A Harley Davidson Motorbike Parked in Yambol

It is quite common to see Harley Davidson motorbikes around Yambol, you usually hear them before you see them. This one I saw but didn't hear, no doubt a club member of 'The Riders' had parked up his pride and joy in a place where admirers could view. Indeed a fine looking, well kept machine and probably worth the same or more than many apartment homes in Yambol.

A Closer Look At A New Tree Planted In Yambol

Just bear in mind that this newly planted tree is on a public street and no permission granted. It is with such care and attnetion that the circular cemetented base was formed and painted. There is no fear of vandalism to the structure or the tree although there might be a knock from cars parked on pavements occassionally.

A Plain Cycle Parked Up In Yambol

I just love the simplicity of the bicycles in Yambol. This was is so plain and functional with the normal plastic carrier although this one is rather special as it has a bell on the handlebar. This bike will last well beyond the new breed of cheap fashion mountain bikes that are increasingly seen on Yambol streets (and pavements). Bikes are never locked when parked up outside shops etc. That's good!

Hearse Parked Outside Yambol Hospital

Hearse Parked Outside Yambol HospitalThere is no consideration as this hearse is seen every single day parked outside the Yambol Hospital. All visitors have to walk past it to see their ill friends or relatives. It must be a worrying moment as they are reminded of the the possibilities of the hearse being hired. Sometimes I see a dead body in the back (in a uncovered coffin) whilst the driver parks up to get a coffee from the shop opposite the hospital. Death is not hidden here and no calls for being more discrete.

Dumped Car

Dumped CarThis old car has been parked here for as long as I have lived here. I see it day in day our year after year. It hasn't budged with it's obsolete number plate and vegetation growing around. It is strange no on does anything about it, especially so as it is parked just outside the Yambol police station!

Simple Skoda

Simple SkodaIt was the colour of this Skoda car that caught my eye parked in the centre of Yambol today. The classical shape of a car that appeals. It is such a simple car, purely practical with no frills which is why it appeals to me so much.

Bulgarian Parking

Bulgarian Parking
Talking of pavements and pedestrians, the Bulgarian just don't have a care in the world about where they park, if it convenient for them fine, for others, hard luck. Her is a typical example of a car parked right across the walkway in a residential street. It's there most of the time as close as he can get to his garden gate. This is perfectly acceptable here, no one complains.
